  • How to save out tonemapping or exposure correction from VFB baked into exr render?

    Hello,
when I have adjusted a tonemapping (and alternatively an exposure adjustment) in the VFB in Vray5, and then go to "save channel" or even all channels, nothing is happening with that adjustment.
RGB looks like before and there is also no additional pass.

I had loaded an older render (beauty) into the VFB and applied a tonemapping and just wanted to save those changes.

    Thanks for explanation

p.s. and as PNG or Tiff it works, but only 8bit

This has been requested many times. Hopefully something will be done about it. I render to png now because of this issue. Apparently the functionality to export the VFB settings as a LUT is coming, (as you can do in MAX) so hopefully that will look correct in Photoshop.
