Target Lights crashing maya instantly

I thought the issue with using the target mode and rectangle /ies lights was fixed. Its crashing everytime for me.

V-Ray 5 for Maya, update 1.1

Hello,

Is this problem occuring with Maya 2022?
If yes, then fortunately it is expected to be fixed with Maya 2022.1.
This is the fix ID number (ADN CaseNo:17806200 / MAYA-111663).
If possible can you check if this problem is still reproducable with Maya 2022.1 and if it is, we will have further look into it.

Is this fixed in Maya? Im only on 2022 still, not the update. Do I need to update Maya for a fix, or will a Vray update fix this?

Yes, it seems that the problem is not reproducible with Maya 2022.1 and it works as expected with V-Ray 5 for Maya, update 1.1
