  • Maya fluids rendering issue

Hi, I am trying to render a Maya fluid but am getting different results in my local Vray render vs the cloud render. i tried various approaches . but still same issue. (Files Attached)

Here is a frame rendered locally ( vray framebuffer) ( saved as png for comparison purposes)

Here is the same frame sent to vray Cloud. ( saved as png for comparison purposes)

    Any help would be appreciated..

    Maya 2020

    V-Ray 5 for Maya, update 1
    (v5.10.20 from Jun 15 2021)

Tried both cached and non cached fluid as well.. but same result

I tried sending the fluid as a normal fluid ( no extra vray attrs)
also with Phoenix (Vray fluid shading quality)
    also with Legacy Phoenix Shading
also as env Fog Volume shader

And various variations of each.. but all the same..

    Hi @alex_duque,

Currently, we are aware that the Maya Fluid is rendered differently on Chaos Cloud and this is logged to our internal bug-tracking system as CLOUD-405.

Is it possible to send us the scene so we can check it in here? You can use the contact form on our webpage to send your request along with the scene, and please don't forget to mention this thread.

Just sent the scene file as requested.via the contact form
The scene is archived and includes the domelight sourceimages and fluid caches.

      Thanks again
