I have some scenes built with v-ray 5.00.20 and when they are launched on our farm which has 5.10.20 i'm seeing a difference in the brightness of xgen fur which is using the v-ray hair shader. Is there anything that has changed between the version that would only make the fur aspect of the scene change ?

Btw, using rs here and version 52 renders some materials brighter-darker on 3dsmax f.e. May that be some optix stuff changed?I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

Has anyone looked into this ? It also seems like the IPR produces a different look to the hair than a bucket render, that was not the case before.Comment
