  • GPU IPR Front view not rendering

    Could someone confirm this, but Vray gets stuck on 'building dynamic GPU nodes' if I try to render the front,side, top or any newly created othographic camera view... in IPR mode on GPU. Works fine in progressive etc, and IPR works fine with cpu. This is with a new scene, simple cube.
    • V-Ray 5 for Maya, update 1.2 (v5.10.22, revision 30963 from Sep 1 2021)
    • Recommended nvidia drivers
    • maya 2022.1

    Same goes if you tick othographic camera option on a normal camera.

      Hola Hello Franco !!

      I have done tests and have not had any problems about that.

      But I recommend that you create a new camera in Maya, transform it to VRay Physical Camera and then in Settings Overrides > Camera > Camera Type > Orthogonal
      Now you only have to place the camera in Translate and Rotate in XYZ to place it the same as in the top, front or side view.

      Im used the VRay 5 the last update and Maya 2022 and GTX 1080 Ti

              Hi francomanko
              We managed to reproduce the issue here and it's reported to our bug-tracker (VMAYA-1068 ). We will post here when we have any progress.
              Actually, the render is not stuck. It is showing an incorrect Field of view and it's not orthographic.

              As a workaround, until this is fixed you can use the override in render settings located here.
              Please could you make a test and let us know if it works for you.
