Maya VRay, renders out at half size?

So, I chose the 2K square preset in Render Settings. Then clicked the Render View button to start the render. And the resulting render, when you open it in Photoshop or Nuke, is 1024x1024. What gives? Surely I am missing something obvious. I've tried this several times. Thanks!

Pretty sure it's some VFB weirdness. When I bypass VFB, it renders at the correct resolution.

VFB tends to mess up the resolution, I often have to change it through the menu View --> Test Resolution

^Lele^ Test resolution button is buggy, it often appears not pressed while the resolution is halved anyway.

Yes, I experience the same regularly - especially when opening an existing scene and hitting render for the first time. I can't consistently reproduce the issue though.

The button state sticks with the scene.
Perhaps however there is a bug and when the scene is reopened the button shows as not active?
Could that be it?

This issue with the VFB test resolution button has been around for a while. Anyone at Chaos care to comment -- this was something you were going to fix a while back.

Yeah I had that same thing too, the button was stuck to half, didn’t Vray 4 have a reset VFB button? That would be very helpful on 5.
