Results differ between V-Ray 5.1 and 5.2

  • Results differ between V-Ray 5.1 and 5.2

    Rendering the attached scene with V-Ray 5.1 and 5.2 will give different results.

    I think it's probably due to the material, not the light, but I can't find the cause of the problem.

    Where is the difference?

    Thanks for the report. However, there were some changes to Metalness and Energy preservation and, for now, the latest version results should be considered correct.

      Thank you for the details.

      It might be helpful to make it clear in the release notes, as some users might be confused by the difference.
