  • the 'Lighting' render element doesn't show the lighting of the foam/splashes when using render.exe(sequence rendering)

    Version Details:

    Maya 2022

    Vray 5.2

    Pheonix 4.41

    Summary:

The foam appear as it should when I render in the frame buffer:

When I render it as a sequence (whether i'm using chaos cloud rendering or the render.exe) the foam lighting information is missing. Because of this, I'm unable to rebuild my beauty.

this was also happening with the light select render element as well.

    Other relevant details

-I"m rendering them as multichannel exrs. I tried rendering them as a jpg but it yielded the same results.
    - using the standard foam and splash shaders and am rendering them as points. most if not all the settings are on default.

Try disabling the Volume Light Cache (ParticleShader>Rendering) for each ParticleShader and see if that makes any difference.
