Hello. I'm trying to render a scene with a plane crash and vdb smoke trail made in Houdini. But Maya crashes both in IPR, VFB and batch rendering. I noticed that there's a lot of RAM use happening. I have 128gb on this machine. Does anybody have a solution?

Is it possible to give a bit more Specs such as OS, Maya version (if it happens only with a specific one), V-Ray build version?
Does this crash happen on both CPU and GPU?
Can you also send a video of how you reproduce the crash?

Yes i happens on both GPU and CPU.
Could it be as simple as I don't have enough RAM? I have 128 GB as mentioned. I Don't have a lot of experience with VDBs so I don't know if this is normal.Comment

Since I still cannot reproduce the problem, is it possible to send a video and a scene, with which you are able to reproduce the crash?
