  • Bucket Flickering on AL Surface Material

    Hello,
as you can see in the video, there is a nasty bucket flickering on the character (Vray AL Surface Material)

    Rendering with GPU RTX
perhaps there is a way to avoid it - others I switch to an SSS
    thnx
    Martin

Have you tried without adaptive dome light or just rendering brute force? This looks like an issue that came up frequently and has never been solved.

pipe_mm Could you strip down the scene and send it via the contact form so we can take a look? Mention me and include a link to this thread.

thanks Hermit_Crab for your kind offer.
I did the trick using a standard MTL.
there is a lot going on in the scene: referenced rig, displacement, motion blur ... all the good stuff
so for this round I am happy its out

Using Progressive mode is not a bad idea for V-Ray GPU, it is what we recommend for now
We are working on improving bucket mode at the moment, if you have time to upload a simple version of your setup it will be very helpful

              Best,
              Muhammed
