  • UVlinking and UVWrandomiser issue

    Hi, so if I have 2 uvsets, and i want to use mayas uv linking, if the texture has a vray UVWrandomiser applied to it, its no longer selectable in the UVlinking window.

    Is this a known issue, or do i need to add an extra step to get it working etc?

    You're right and I think it should be able to do that. I'll speak with the devs and see if there's something we can do about it or/and if there are workarounds.

      Okay, I've logged the issue (internal bug-tracker id: VMAYA-11180) for developer analysis. You can work around it by applying the "2D Placement Options" attribute to the VRayUVWRandomizer's place2dTexture node, where you manually write the uvSet name.
