Export USD Vray Material

Looks like to option to export Vray materials is gone in Maya2023 and Maya_USD 0.16
Vray v5.20.02, revision 31337 from Apr 1 2022

Is there an other way to export the material?

look into file type specific options > Plug-in Configuration. there is a v-ray option. worked for me.

Thanks it does work. But its confusing to not see the VrayMaterial popping up if you choose the plugin.

Yes, we're working on this and we'll have something out pretty soon.
MayaUsd 0.15 (or was it 0.14) changed the way the options are exposed.
It's best to just wait a few days before we can get the necessary changes into the builds.

Yes, it was just released the other day.
Under the hood it uses the same USD version (21.11) as 0.16.0 so it should work with V-Ray (once we put out some builds that support 0.16.0, ofc, which will be any day now).
