Ive been testing some cg character assets for filler in some automotive shots. The motion blurred dude in the pic is a rigged walk cycle asset, and the foreground dancing lady is an alembic sequence. The motion blur looks fine on the rig guy, but choppy on the alembic. Is there something I should be doing to get the motion blur to work on the alembic sequence?

Admittedly it's not Maya but in Max this works with no problem, if that is of any help at all.
Maybe it's a motion blur samples thing, ....I did find this post which suggests something like that https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/maya-...r/td-p/6741324

I cant find the "frame relative sample" that theyre taking about...EDIT...ok I dont know whats going on, but standard alembic import with motion blur seems to work fine in a test scene...WEIRD....
