I tried it in another scene, but VRayMtl is not the solution.

        The cause was found
The V-Ray GPU shades the polyboolean operand mesh (hidden at render time) and calculates the solution mesh and double shading. (Calculate the completely overlapping surfaces)

If move the solution mesh (polySurface), the double shading disappears.

        V-Ray GPU must support it.

Is there a Chaos support team here? Isn't this a bug?

flat Thanks for the report. I've logged it (internal bug-tracker id: VGPU-5822) for developer investigation. For now, simply move the polySurface to prevent the overlapping; also, V-Ray lights do not seem to exhibit the issue.
