  • Light Linking does kill self shadow

    Is there any reason why light linking does kill the self shadow.
    If you use Illuminate by default off like shown in the video.

    Second issue if i create a new object it gets illuminated. Which should not happen if im in "NOT" illuminate by default mode.

      I cannot reproduce this on a similar scene - could you attach yours here? From what I see you're using a VRayLight, which does not have the "illuminate by default" option. What do you mean by your second question?

            Thanks for the report. I've logged both issues (internal bug-tracker id: VMAYA-11250) for developer investigation. For now, manually linking/delinking may be used as a workaround.
