  • VDB object inside of environment fog only renders in GPU.

    I have a vdb cloud that i'm brining in from houdini in order to create areas of murky water. My "water" volume is the v-ray environment fog and the vdb is loaded as as a volume grid. When i render my setup with the GPU render all is fine, but when I use the bucket render on CPU my vdb object is gone (but still somehow casting shadows on my objects).

    Is there some bug or limitation I should know about ?

    Hello, We often deal with a lot of Houdini-generated VDB volumes, that need to be rendered together with EnvironmentFog (think simulated smoke plumes in a hazy/foggy environment f.e.). Problem is, this doesn't really work. The two node-types don't really blend/sort properly, unless we switch the VolumeGrids to the
