  • V-Ray v5.10.22 and v5.2.02 of the Tri-Planar, rendering results different

This is a comparison of V-Ray versions 5.10.22 and 5.2.02 of the Tri-Planar. Why are the rendering results different?
On the other hand, there was no difference in rendering between versions without using the tri-planar.
We are currently unable to update to 5.2. Please help.

It's due to a change, where normals were sometimes flipped with Triplanar. The newer builds should yield more physically correct results.

Thank you very much for clearing up my doubts.
        Our work looked physically different.
If I had referred to the bugfix list, there would have been no confusion in determining the direction of work, but I am sorry.
It helped me a lot in determining the direction of my work.
        thank you

Wow this is fantastic news. Just tested here and normal maps and vray triplanar work a treat now. Long time coming but greatly appreciated. Thanks Devs!
