Lens Effects disabling itself

V-Ray for Maya v5.20.01

In the VFB, Lens Effects is just constantly turning itself off. I'm not doing anything except initiating an IPR or a final render. The layer in the stack is just disabling itself. WTF?

I saw some other post for the C4D plugin to the effect that "Save Glare Channel" needs to be enabled. Well, it is.

Are the lens effects stopping all together or they are applied after the render is done (You can check the Log for any messages)? If it is the first case, is it possible for you so send us a scene (and a video) with which you are reproducing the problem?

Hey Dimitrina, thanks for your reply. Very good point. It does look like Lens Effects are being applied after the render is completed. But sometimes when I do an IPR, Lens Effects are there from the start. So it's a bit confusing.

yeh I get all sorts of weird VFB layer stuff going on. Denoiser not turning off when I want it to, opacity sliders not having any effect. Often I have to turn off lens fx to get the others to turn off. Very strange sometimes.

Can you please give a bit more information about the problem you are experiencing?
From where are you trying to turn off the Denoiser? Is it from the VFB Layers (maybe from the eye icon or the Calculate denoiser button)? Is your Denoiser Render Element enabled while you are trying to disable it form the VFB Layers settings? If yes, then this is expected behavior. If this is not the problem you are reproducing can you please send us a video to give us a better guidance of what you are experiencing.

About your problem with the opacity sliders not having any effect, can you explain it a bit more detailed so we can have further look into it.
