Is there an other way than using the object properties to set a subd multiplyer?
Cause an object can only be in one object properties set.

Could use render layers and set an override.

Interesting workaround but not a solution. At least in my case.

The VRayMtlWrapper has most of the VRay Object Properties' options - maybe it could come in handy. What exactly are you trying to do?

                Hey oglu

What did you use to setup your SSS ? Alsurface? Translucency?
Would it be possible to share a sample scene, or show us how your frame looks like?
We need more information to be able to assist

Here is a typical scene. The skin torus does just take longer to converge.

Thank you for the scene, I didn't forget about this
Still open to discussion with the GPU team, to find a solution
