Render TOON render element only?

Hi Guys, I'm using Toon render element to just get some outlines of a model as a separate render. But of course, it's rendering effects result/denoiser/self-illumination and effects result...everything else as well! Is there a way to only render what I need or do I have to sit and wait for the other more 'expensive' render tasks to render also?

Use render layers, this is where I would output the line work. To all geometry add a material override with default vray mtl this will speed up your render element for just the toon lines.
