  • Normal Map tri Planer issue

    I ran into this recently and not sure if it's still an ongoing thing or a new but.

    Long story short the tri-planer wants to use the Uvs. When the mapping is removed it will not work at all. I wish I could share some screen caps but I cannot.
    I am rendering with GPU if that makes a difference.

    Any help with this would be great.

    Is this happening only for Normal maps? Could you test with CPU? Can you reproduce this in a new simple scene and if you can, could you share it?

      I'm pretty sure this has been fixed for CPU for a while now. I have no probem using triplaner and normal on CPUcas long as the 3 axis of the normal map are correct. I did have a few maps where I had to flip Channels in substance to make them work correctly.
