USD stage rendering issues with vray

I have a USD file that i'm brining into maya from houdini via the usd stage from file command in maya. The file comes in correctly and displays properly in the viewport, however when vray tries to render, the elements in the file are not in the proper location. Has anyone else had this issue?

Is your Maya by any chance set to Z-up? Otherwise, could you send us the .usd file so we can troubleshoot?

The file could be shared here in a .zip or via our contact form if you prefer.
We will appreciate if you are able to send also the .hip by using V-Ray > Pack Scene.
