V-Ray Dirt As Inclusive Set

Can I just let it be known how annoy it is having to untick 'As Inclusive Set' everytime I use V-Ray Dirt in V-Ray 6 in Maya 2024. The material doesn't work unless this is unticked so I find myself having to re-render so many times as it's a step that easily gets forgotten.

Are you using a set or applying it to the whole scene?

I'm using it via Render Elements > Extra Tex > Vray Dirt. It also happens if I apply a V-Ray Dirt shader as a self-illumination texture on a shader. The shader/render is white unless that is unticked.
