  • VRay 6 GPU Maya's native colorComposite

    Hi there,

    I am having trouble with maya's native colorComposite in Maya 2024.2 and VRay 6.2 GPU. It seems fine on the cpu but breaks on the gpu when used in a simple network as you can see in the attached screenshots. Is this a known limitation? It works fine if I use a VRayLayeredTex, so better stay away from the colorComposite?

    The math seems to be wrong when using colorComposite and colorBlend together on GPU. I've logged the issue (internal bug-tracker id: VGPU-6408 ). And yes, use VRayLayeredTex as a workaround.
