Components of StandardSurface: Subsurface, Coat, Sheen

Hello,

I wanted to inquire about the materials in V-RAY for Maya, specifically regarding the Maya Standard Surface material.

No matter how much I adjust the parameters for Subsurface, Coat, and Sheen in the Maya Standard Surface material, I don't see any changes. Is this intentional?

- vray for maya：6.20.00
- Maya：2023.3

Sorry to say, StandardSurface's dispersion, sheen, coat, and SSS are not yet exported for rendering in V-Ray. Is there a reason for using Standard Surface instead of a VRay Mtl?

Thank you for your response.
The reason we prefer to use Maya Standard Surface is because we are currently investigating achieving a unified look across DCC tools using MaterialX. We found that the subsurface scattering (SSS) did not achieve the correct appearance with vrayMaterialX. Therefore, we are considering whether we can standardize using Maya Standard Surface instead.
