Cant say for certain its what it is....but I never used Scatter before this project, and I rarely, if ever had crashes...now I have about four scatter systems in my scene and I crash several times a day. Ill need to do more digging and testing once this project is over, but it feels veeerryy unstable doing whatever it is Im doing now.

Hi, thanks for posting. I can not reproduce a crash with my Maya 2024 and V-Ray 6.20.01 (latest version) and Chaos Scatter in a simple scene. Probably it is something specific to your project.
Could you share your scene here or trough the support contact form for review? -
Yeh its a very unhelpful forum post...I will need to diagnose the scene more to find out what is making it crash. Im using cosmos grass / plants with the scatter systems, but I cant say much more until I have tested the scene further.Comment

Yes this was my point. If you wish me or other support specialists form my team can help you with that or do that instead of you. But we will need the scene and all of the assets used in it for this task. Also the versions of 3ds Max and V-Ray that you are using.I will need to diagnose the scene more to find out what is making it crash.
