vrayCurvature with vrayLightMesh crashes Maya

  • vrayCurvature with vrayLightMesh crashes Maya

    Hi,

    i noticed, that using the vrayCurvature texture as texture input in a vrayLightMesh will immediatly crash Maya when trying to render. Doen't matter if the texture is plugged in directly or used further down in the shading graph. I guess this must be a bug?

    I'm using Maya 2022 with vray v6.20.00

    Thanks for the report. I've logged the crash (internal bug-tracker id: VMAYA-12979). As a workaround, you can bake the VRayCurvature (set it in the Self-Illumination slot of a VRayMtl) and use the output for the VRayLightMesh instead.
