  • Applying LightMix "To Scene" sets all lights "colorMode" to 0. User has to keep track on colorMode per light in scene

Applying LightMix "To Scene" sets all lights "colorMode" to 0 (not respecting current setting). User has to keep track on colorMode per light in scene to restore colorMode settings as before applying "To Scene".
Note that only lights with changes are affected.

A proper behavior would be that colorMode settings are kept as set by the user.

LightMix is such useful tool so a fix would be much appreciated.

There's a warning about this right after you click the "To Scene" button. Otherwise, keeping the multipliers with the original value after "To scene" would yield confusing results. Say a light's intensity is 30 and its LightMix multiplier is 2. After sending "To Scene" the light's intensity is now 60, but if we keep the LightMix multiplier as 2, it would look as if its 120. "To Scene" should be used after one's happy about the LightMix results.

I'm talking about that a light set to use "Temperature" (colorMode = 1) is switched to use "Color" (colorMode = 0) after applying "To Scene". A scene using light with Temperature mode can be totally different after using "To Scene". Everything else is working great.

EDIT: FYI: Just talked to the devs about this. The color mode is changed, because you cannot multiply a color (in VRayLightMix) by a temperature value.

Ok, thanks for looking at this. I understand that multiplying color in Temperature mode make no sense. I'm all happy if the intensity is multiplied and that lights using "Temperature" is restored to that mode after the "To Scene" operation
