  • maya camera in a group animation issue

Hi. If I keyframe a camera and render that camera view during IPR, everything is fine. If I group that camera, and animate the group node to control the movement of the camera, this does not work in IPR.

    Maya 2024V-Ray 6 for Maya, update 2.2

Anything on this? I just opened an old scene where I had cameras animated in groups and it was driving me mad as to why nothing was updating in IPR...then I remembered this...

I can replicate this issue on my end as well. IPR will update fine if I move the group by hand, but no if I scrub though timeline with key frames.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I can't reproduce it. Posting a gif from my test. Mind if you attach a simple scene?

your camera group looks like a one of the camera options with an aim constraint. Im using a camera with no aim constraints, and group under a standard group node, which then has keyframes on that group node.

No difference. Testing with the latest official version - 6.20.02 V-Ray for Maya.
