Ran a test with Vray light material being utilized as "direct illumination" so that the geometry acts like a light without the need for GI (casts direct rays and shadows as opposed to only photons in GI).
This works great but the main problem is that the Primary visibility flag works incorrectly. Instead of the geometry light object becoming invisible to camera it turns black and also blacks out the alpha as well acting like a matte object.
I would expect this function to make the geometry invisible to camera and have no effect on the alpha.
