    Hello all,

    It has been discussed here already but i didn't find a solution in the different topics.
    I have a scene with a displaced ground. When hiding the ground plane everything is ok, but when i use the plane the vray is not using all cores.
    I tried to increase Dynamic memory limit from 500 to 2000 and then to 4000, i tried to increase edge length of displace to 8 and 16, but nothing helps... what can i try ?

    another problem noticed yesterday: I had several times the message "warning: DR request received from 192.168.1.35, but currently busy with 0.0.0.0" on the renderslave that was not rendering, what does it mean ?

    Hi Olivier,

    when you use displacement VRay always uses only one core. No way around at the moment.

        Currently the generation of the displaced geometry is not multithreaded; once the geometry is generated, raytracing is multithreaded.
