Sorry if it has been resolved early, but i didn't find in the forum.

What happens with the slaves when they give the message "got DR requests from XXX.XX.XX.XX but currently busy with 0.0.0.0" or something like that... ?

It happens often, and it's pretty annoying !

    thanks a lot

Which V-Ray version is that? How did the previous DR rendering terminate (normally or it was cancelled by the user)?

            Best regards,
            Vlado

It's still build 10624. It happens often when i cancel a render while testing.
              Should i use another build ? (win 7 64 on maya 2010 64)

              thank's

If you go to the V-Ray console window on a render server that gives this message, and press Ctrl+Break, V-Ray will write a dump file with the current state of the program. It will print something like 'Writing crash dump to "C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Temp\VRay.dmp"'. Is it possible to send me one or two of these .dmp files to vlado@chaosgroup.com?

                Best regards,
                Vlado

is there any way to have the server reset the slaves via the batch command ?

                    regards,

I'm now launching final renders via a batch script

render. exe -vray bla bla bla render 1 bla bla
render. exe -vray bla bla bla render 2 bla bla
render. exe -vray bla bla bla render 3 bla bla

Nearly each time it finishes a render the slaves halt on busy 0.0.0.0 and have to be relaunched !

annoying.... i have to test more for the next deadline
