Maya 's Spotlight with Decay 2, (aka Quadratic) - shadow color not working

Hey Guys,

when you use a maya spotlight, render in vray,
the "shadow color" works in NO DECAY,

but quadratic / linear it doesnt..

I think it does, but the shadow is still influenced by the quadratic/linear decay (so if the light has not enough intensity, the shadow will be too dark).

I set the Shadow Color, to the intensity value of the light,

and it worked
