  • Problems with Vray for maya 2008 linux

The other day was working with distributed rendering between Vray for Maya 2008 linux, and Vray for Maya 2009 linux 64. The render result was a bucket mixing of this two images:

The same render between Vray for Maya 2010 windows 64 and Vray for Maya 2009 windows 32 was perfect. With the look of second image.

Here the scene (little reduced. Why only 90kb for zips!?):

Please, take in consideration that Vray for Maya 2008 linux is the single solution for we can use 4gb advantaging our old physical several processors computers.

Which V-Ray version are you using? This appears to be fixed in newer builds - I get the same result on Windows and Linux.

This newer builds will be released when the Vray for Maya 2011 version be released before the end of this month, right?

Ok then, If Vray for maya 2008 linux gonna be updated too, only leaves wait.

I'm running nightlies (few weeks back since i updated) of the linux build and i have had no discrepancies between render results on Maya 2008 via DR. My other DR machines are Macs though.
