Yes; you may need to launch Maya from the command line with /usr/autodesk/maya2011-x64/bin/maya or something like that. This will be enabled by default in future versions anyways.

If you use a VRayBlendMtl material, this will be fine (you are using one material inside another material, not inside another texture). If you use a Maya Blend node, then you will get the warning.

In the nightly build, now we see it "bright white" color. Really it's impossible to change it?. Something you had done for now we can visualize shaded mode in white... I hope you find a way for this.. for our eyes!.
It will work fine if you use the "Default quality" renderer.

Roll-out list of Vray Camera settings doesn't works. (Its possible use a command for change option, but not through GUI). I'm talking about Camera types, like spherical, cylindrical, etc...
Both of these work fine for me in the latest builds (on Fedora Core .

Actually I could reproduce this, but it seems that it is a bug in the createRenderNode command in Maya 2011 (it tries to set a check-box in a window, but that window is not yet created). This affects any place where you have to assign something other than a texture (e.g. a material or a shading group etc). However it will work if you have used the window to select a texture before that. i have already reported this to Autodesk.

                Best regards,
                Vlado

I didn't know about this Maya bug. We hope in the next Maya release they fix it (between another bugs)...

Vlado, thanks for all answers one more time.

I sended to you this past weekend a mail for get the last nightly build, now you said to me that distributed rendering issues are fixed. There is no hurry, but I leave it "said" in the forum. Better continue reporting with the lastest build...
