  • Vray Cam and image background

Is there a way to not have the vray camera effect the viewport image background? Meaning I have footage that I want to match the lighting to and the f-stop and other vray cam attributes changes the reference image.

    Very easy to do

    Go to - COLOUR MAPPING

    Untick - AFFECT BACKGROUND

    Cheers

I tried that already, and it didn't work. If it's an image in the render env slot than that's fine but when it's an image inside the cam like rot footage in the cam itself, then the vray cam attributes effects it.

Which version of V-Ray for Maya are you using? This seems to be fine in the recent builds.

        Best regards,
