  • physical camera settings for camera tracked scenes

Hi Vrays! I'm wondering if any of you have tried using the vray physical camera with tracking data? Basically, if you pull in your syntheyes or pftrack camera and turn physical camera on... it doesnt really render the same. It looks like its more than just distortion, it looks as if the lens is completely different.

Are there some settings that I need to manually apply to get them to line up?

    thanks

When you switch the physical camera on, it changes straight away your view. Maya default camera changes when you change the physical camera but the over way around is not true.
I have a similar problem, when I use a physical camera for my beauty pass, then I switch it off for some other passes, unfortunately I use a bit of distortion and I cannot have the Maya camera to match it.
I have to visually change the physical camera to work. It isn't the best way.

I guess it would be nice to have the physical camera to match Maya default camera when switch on (currently the physical camera is a 40mm by default when switch on).
