env fog not in atmosphere render element

I'm trying to render a underwater scene, using vray Environment fog. I would like to output it all in render elements, but the fog does not show up. I thought it would be in the atmosphere RE, but it renders black. I can't seem to find any docs on that render element or the others. Is it possible to output the fog in a layer? and are there any docs on the RE's on its way?

that is great news! we are using Vray for the first time in production, but I have only used 1.50 SP1 so far. Is the beta ok for production? Or would you suggest to work around it and stick with 1.50?

As snivlem wrote, it is fixed for newer builds. As to whether to use newer builds or not - it depends. Note that the beta builds are work in progress - we try not to break things, but it happens occasionally.
