weird moving Displacement

Hi,

I was just fooling around with vray and noticed something weird with the displacement in my scene.
Although there is no animation on textures the displacement seems to "animate"
the only thing that is animated is the camera that zooms and moves...
i've included a part of the cropped images where you can see this behaviour
especially between frame 4 and 5:

any ideas that could cause this?

Are you using 3d displacement with view dependant checked on, and low settings?
It's view dependant that does it - the quality changes as the camera moves. With low settings, it's not a gradual change but a big jump.
