I was having this issue with nightly 13240, Maya 2009 x64 using winXp64 and a Quadro 3800, not sure of resolution, but I don't think it was above 1920x1080.
Similar problem here, except as well as the divider refresh problem, the display is black after clicking H.
quadro fx1800 2011 sp1 win 7 x64 build 13374
We're now using 13418 with 2009x64/xp64. I thought this issue was just with the A/B feature, but today I discovered the history panel is now broken, which is much more problematic for us. Here I can open it up, and also load renders (vrimages) from an OLD build fine. But as soon as I try to use A/B or load an image rendered in 13418, the VFB display breaks (turns black) and fills with noise if moved between monitors. I also can't send the new build VFB image to the Maya Render View once it breaks, MayaRV just gets a flat dark blue image. Oddly, if I set my A and B images to those rendered with build 12797, the new feature works fine and I can move the white bar around to set the A/B blend point. I also tried installing the latest quadro drivers from Nvidia but that didn't seem to fix the problem.
The old/new build exr thing seems to be a hint. The problem is not that the A/B stuff is still in early development, I'm excited to see this functionality. It's that the history panel, esp. save/load is now broken. I also tested this on the same hardware but in win7x64 and encountered the same problems. Yannick, same here when I enable the comparison I can't disable it, but I can get things to 'come back' if I load a vrimg from an old build.
