VRayCarPaintMtl?

Hi all,

What happened to the VRay Car Paint material?

I am pretty sure I was using it in with the latest nightly build for testing with Vray mesh lights and was fine.

Now when I open maya it has disappeared?

I am not 100% sure if it was visible in the Aug 30 build. But I definetely had it in a scene. (I have a saved scene with it attached to an object) but now settings appear when I open that scene and view the material.

I did uninstall vray and then uninstall maya to install the newer Maya 2011 SP1 hotfix.

Has that anything to do with it?

There is nothing in the documents about this material either.

I am pretty new to vray so maybe I missed something.

It's there, from what I see - seems to work fine.

It's ok. Just me being dumb. Basically I have spent ages trying to get Vray to work with Maya 2011 SAP, so was unistalling maya and vray numerous times. I gave up and intstalled Maya 2011 SP1 instead and realised I installed an earlier build of vray. Aug 30th and the the latest nightly build.
