  • vrlservice troubles shutdown

    Hey,

something I recognized and is kind of a pain:

vrlservice interrupts the shutdown process of MacOS.

It says that vrlservice.exe stopped the shutdown process and I would have to quit it first...
Now, quitting is not possible (weird) and if it would be, it wouldn't be very handy...

    and for another thread:

the frame buffer window doesn't stays in foreground - meaning, everytime i click elsewhere in the attribute editor or the maya window itself - the frame buffer gets in the background.
    Behind all other windows.

    Thats pretty odd.

Is this known or is there a fix?

    Thanks guys

I have the exact same problems on my Mac and have reported this in about the vrlservice preventing shutdown on Macs just a few weeks ago. Happy to hear it's not just my array of Macs!

        Hi all,

are there some news on the above mentioned issues?

I know that they are minor issues regarding others, but for the working experience it
would be great if they were fixed.

        Thanks
