Render region bug?

Hi
From the image you can see that by rendering a region in the MFB the images is washed out but in the VFB it appears fine, is this a bug?

Is it possible that it is gamma-corrected twice (f.e. if you enable the "Apply sRGB for the render view" option and at the same time set the V-Ray color mapping gamma to something other than 1.0)?
