  • Render an orthogonal physical camera?

    Hi,

need a quick help: We have set up a scene for rendering with a physical camera (HDRI envir. + lights). Now we need to render a orthogonal view of the scene. But this only seems to work when we turn off the physical camera with the consequence that the image will freak/blown out.

    Any bottom we forgot?

    Thanks
    Lars

Did you try Render Settings -> VRay -> Camera -> Type = Orthogonal?

Yes, but this works only if we turn off the physical camera. Or?

Strange, in my test it works now! Will try out with our production scene.

There is a dynamic attribute group per camera named "Camera settings", which is with bigger priority then the option in render settings.

How can I find that dynamic attribute group and change the settings there?

You have attached those dyn. settings to your cam when you enabled the vray specific "Camera Settings" in your camera. Next to the "Physical Camera" attributes in the attribute editor.
