  • Tangent Space Normals - Bug

    Later builds of vray quit supporting tangent space normals. (even tried reverting to sp1)

    Maya 2010x64 14157

    Create object. Assign blinn/lambert. Assign a texture to a bump map.
    Renders fine.

    Change to tangent/object space normals in bump2d node.
    //Error: There was a fatal error building the scene for V-Ray

    A big pain, because I'll have to convert all my shaders to vrayMtl, and the scene has hundreds of objects and dozens of shaders.
