  • [BUG] Matte objects with environmentOverride show up wrong in rendering

    Hey guys,

the following picture shows two spheres where the left has no VOP attached and the right has a VOP and is matteSurface and also has an environmentOverride inside its shadingGroup. The Maya file is attached as well.

I hope you can fix this fast, cause it screws up a lot of our renderings over here and we really like the envOverride feature.

    cheers

Thx for pointing out Oli. I use the env_override a lot. Just recently I figured out that there is another issue when using the env_override and a blend shader.

I posted it in the Maya General forum:
    http://www.chaosgroup.com/forums/vbu...rride-Material

Maybe again it happens because the env_override is plugged into the SG.
Would be great to see that fixed as well.
