I ran into any issue were i was rendering and it did not match the view port lineup, after doing some investigation i came to this conclusion, The camera i was rendering with has Camera Shear in the transform attributes, after changing them back to 0, the render was matching the view port again. I ran a bunch of test trying to figure out the issue and the maya software was rendering it correctly but when switching to vray it was not reading the shear info correctly. I cant think of a reason to use camera shear but i just wanted to put that out there to see if anyone has ran into some issue with that.
