Vray for maya Linux Farm looses -server info and resets to LocalHost

Hey Guys,
We have been banging out heads trying to figure out how to get the -server to stay to our renderserver. When we ssh into the machine it is correct. When we use royalrender it reverts the server to localhost. I read that there is a vrlclient.xml somewhere but I can not find it in our build of Vray. any help would be greatly appreciated..
