    Hi vlado,

i have a strange probl here

im not sure if u know this plugin for maya SOUP (http://www.soup-dev.com/index.html)

great stuff, in previous rls of vray 1.5 i was able to render some particle instances but now with vray 2 i get a error

[2011/Apr/27|20:56:10] V-Ray error: There was a fatal error building the scene for V-Ray.

could we/u take a look this, i know that fmx is close....

    cheers

Can you give me more specific steps how to reproduce the problem?

    Best regards,
    Vlado

Nope; I'm a bit busy with the new releases. Will look at it as soon I can.

I have the same problem with maya 2012 64bit with vray 2.0. Is there a workaround or maybe it is fixed in the next update?
              greetings,
              Arjan

We had a similar issue here at Parasol, the instancer was not working with custom inputs. But it was fixed in the nightly´s. Are you using the newest one?

hmm - is this Vray version some internal one you got directly from Vlado ? - as we only have access to 2.00.04 through the website

                          honzal:
Probably this is a night build version.
You can get one by sending a mail to vraymaya@chaosgroup.com or you can wait for the 2.0 sp1, which will happen very soon

There are release notes included with every release and we also post them here on the forum with the official announcements.
