  • Mudbox mesh and environment fog issue

    I am having an issue where geo that has been exported from mudbox does not render when plugging the environment fog node into the volumetric slot of a material. The fog works with other geo just not the mudbox mesh.

    check render attributes to see if visible in refraction /reflection are disabled. if you brought over via .obj that might be the cause.

      Hey Doug,

      I did turn those options on when I imported and still nothing. I wonder if the polycount has a influence because as of right now its around 1 million. How are things over at the buck la (this is Michael from the NY office).

        The number of polygons should not matter, but the normal orientation will - check if the mesh has flipped normals. If there are still issued, it would be best if you can send us a scene to vraymaya@chaosgroup.com
